This was intended to be a semi-commercial about us proclaiming some stuff about high definition video, and I originally planned for it to be our first movie using my Canon HV20 camera, but it was just put on the backburner for a long time for no apparent reason. Aside from the HD proclamations, it's also a semi-spoof of about 90% of people's first HD videos that have close-up shots of random stuff (usually plants or animals) and cheesy music, and playing around with the depth of field. Nothing against close-up HD shots of stuff, because it usually looks really nice, but I find it funny and annoying how pretty much everybody feels that they have to do that.
The song used is called "Dictaphones Lament" by Tycho. Interestingly enough, I found it while watching one of those "close-up HD shots of random stuff" videos.
