The sequel to the critically acclaimed Average Citizen! Fluke video! We had no plans at all to do this, but it happened anyway. We went out that day to film some guerilla scenes for the big Batman series "What's Yours is Mine," but that didn't fall through. The whole thing with the CD player was supposed to be a part of the guerilla stuff, so that's why we had it. As you see at the beginning of this video, we started off at some bench at the park. Saw some people walking by and decided to TURN UP THE NOISE! It all just took off from there.
What was fun about doing this video was that I did considerably less than the first Average Citizen, yet it's a hundred times more annoying for all the civilians involved. And all I had to do was stand there! Before, people played along a bit, with things like "Get a life!" or "Haha, funny, let's talk for a while." But here it's just purely "...Whaaaaaaat...? Batman...CD player...Puff Daddy?!" Yeah, Puff Daddy! PUFF DADDYYYYYYYYYYYY! I own a single of Come With me from the Godzilla soundtrack. It has the radio edit and extended radio edit. It's awesome. We also did some stuff from the Space Jam soundtrack, which is great dancing music. Anyway, I think my favourite moment was dealing with those people going into their house (during the credits). I followed them pretty close to their door, and they seemed to hesitate. At one point the girl said something like "Now he's going to come inside!" and then that dude with the sunglasses just stood there watching me. I enjoy giving people something to talk about over dinner that night.
