The Amazing Guys was meant to have the same kind of spirit of Beast Wars FPJ. Nothing too hectic, a few slapstick-ish gags here and there. I think it succeeds at doing that. I only wrote a haphazard outline of a script, and basically made up the rest as I went along. The Water Pik radio, Wolverine walking off the shelf, and others were all a matter of circumstance.
I didn't really pursue this series at first for a few reasons. Firstly, I lose interest quickly in things that don't feel new. Secondly, a lot of my concepts can be considered gimmicky, so unless I feel like I'm writing something worthwhile, I won't bother to continue a gimmick series. Thirdly, I'm just lazy.
A year later, I did end up doing Episodes 2 and 3 - guess it took that long for me to feel like this was new again!

Thing: Same as swamp thing from Beast Wars pretty much
